Adams State Grizzlies, featuring former San Pasqual High School standout Osaias Hinojosa, were defeated 13-9 by the Colorado Christian Cougars at 3 p.m. on Friday, March 13, during their NCAA Division II baseball matchup.
The game, which marked their first meeting of the season, was held at ASU Baseball Field.
Hinojosa pitched six innings with eight strikeouts and allowed two earned runs.
The Grizzlies will return to ASU Baseball Field to face Colorado Christian Cougars again on Saturday, March 14, at 12 p.m.
