At 2 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 27, the Adams State Grizzlies, with former San Pasqual High School standout Osaias Hinojosa on the roster, defeated the New Mexico Highlands Cowboys 21-18 in an NCAA Division II baseball matchup.
The contest was held at ASU Baseball Field and marked the first time this season the Grizzlies faced the Cowboys.
Hinojosa appeared on the mound for 0.1 innings and gave up one walk.
The Grizzlies will take on New Mexico Highlands Cowboys again Saturday, Feb. 28, at 11 a.m. at ASU Baseball Field.
