Former Mission Hills High School standout Kyara Walter and her collegiate team, the Cal State Los Angeles Golden Eagles, dropped a 75-79 game against the Vanguard Lions in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament on Friday, March 13.
The matchup, which began at 7:30 p.m., was held at Nicholson Arena and marked Cal State LA’s first meeting with the Vanguard Lions in the tournament.
