On Tuesday, March 18, former Poway High School standout Chris Sauer’s current college team, the Wheeling Cardinals, lost 15-13 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the California Vulcans.

The game took place at Wild Things Park. This was their first matchup against the Vulcans this season.

The Cardinals’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 22 at 1 p.m. at JB Chambers I-470 Complex against West Virginia Wesleyan Bobcats.
