Tuition fees at Pima Medical Institute-San Marcos rose by 3.3% for the 2022-23 school year, based on the latest available information, according to the latest disclosure from the National Center for Education Statistics.

Students enrolled at the two-year private for-profit college paid $17,080 this year, which is $546 higher than the $16,534 charged during the 2021-22 academic year.

All undergraduate students attending the institution are residents of California.

Data reveals that 69% of full-time undergraduates who began studies at Pima Medical Institute-San Marcos in 2022-23 received some form of student financial aid. Specifically, 137 students were awarded grants or scholarships totaling $684,007, while 166 students obtained student loans exceeding $1.3 million.

Across the entire undergraduate body, 416 students benefited from grants or scholarships amounting to $2.2 million. Additionally, 431 students secured federal student loans totaling $3.6 million.

Meanwhile, student loan debt has steadily increased over the last 30 years, reaching $1.75 trillion in 2024, averaging a total of $28,950 per borrower. Federal loans make up 92% of the debt, with over half of students at both public and private four-year colleges graduating with student loans.
