Darrell Issa, a member of the U.S. Congress representing California’s 48th district, shared his views on several matters via recent social media posts. Issa, who has served in Congress since 2021 after replacing Duncan D. Hunter, expressed criticism and support regarding different issues in a series of tweets.

On March 28, 2025, Issa criticized the Biden Administration claiming that they “knowingly lied about a VA budget shortfall, using veterans as unknowing pawns in their budget scam.” He urged that President Biden and VA Secretary McDonough owe veterans an apology. “The Biden Administration knowingly lied about a VA budget shortfall, using veterans as unknowing pawns in their budget scam. In another tweet on the same day, Issa thanked Claudia Tenney for her support for the initiative “No Rogue Rulings.” “Thank you @claudiatenney for your support on No Rogue Rulings.”

Issa also conveyed his gratitude towards Representative Bob Onder from Missouri for backing the “No Rogue Rulings” initiative, once again showing appreciation for political allies who support his endeavors. “Thank you Rep @BobOnderMO for your support of No Rogue Rulings.”
