Darrell Issa, a member of the U.S. Congress representing California’s 48th district since 2021, shared his thoughts on social media about various topics concerning California and national issues. Issa, who replaced Duncan D. Hunter in Congress, was born in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1953 and currently resides in San Diego. He is an alumnus of Siena Heights University.

On January 27, 2025, Darrell Issa tweeted about California’s floral industry. He stated that “California has the most beautiful, fresh cut flowers in the world. Buy American grown. Win-win.”

The following day, on January 28, 2025, he posted a brief statement celebrating achievements at the border: “Border wide success”.

On January 29, 2025, Issa highlighted efforts to remove criminal illegal immigrants from the country by tweeting: “7,000 criminal illegal immigrants have been removed in just 1 week”.
