Darrell Issa, a current member of the U.S. Congress representing California’s 48th District since 2021, has been actively sharing his views through tweets. Since taking over from Duncan D. Hunter, Issa has expressed his legislative priorities and opinions through social media, where he remains a significant presence.

On April 24, 2025, Issa reiterated his commitment to his legislative agenda with a tweet asserting, “Never gets old to keep saying, ‘This Is What I Voted For.'”

Later on the same day, Issa shared “Excellent news” concerning an unspecified matter, suggesting a positive development in line with his political objectives.

On April 27, 2025, he addressed a legal matter involving a notable political figure. Through a tweet, Issa claimed that “Political activist, Milwaukee Court Judge and now criminal defendant Hannah Dugan, brazenly aided and abetted the flight of a fugitive after she personally reviewed the lawful arrest warrant of wife beater and illegal immigrant, Eduardo Flores-Ruiz. #NoOneIsAboveTheLaw”

Issa, born in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1953, and a graduate of Siena Heights University, has been a vocal legislator since moving to San Diego and maintaining a prominent stance on various legal and political issues.
