Darrell Issa, a U.S. Congressman representing California’s 48th district, has been actively engaging with his constituents and fellow lawmakers through social media. In a series of recent tweets, Issa addressed several political matters.

On March 22, 2025, Darrell Issa directed a message to the Governor of California: “Gov Newsom, it’s your turn.” The tweet appears to prompt action from Governor Gavin Newsom.

A few days later, on March 25, 2025, Issa expressed gratitude towards Leader Scalise in another post: “Thank you, Leader Scalise. We’re ready. Let’s get this bill passed.” This suggests coordination on legislative efforts.

On the same day, Issa announced an upcoming vote in the House regarding a significant piece of legislation. He stated: “The House will vote on No Rogue Rulings Act (NORRA). Support is building.” He also acknowledged the support of various cosponsors for the bill including Rep Derrick Van Orden from Wisconsin and others from Texas, North Carolina, Florida, Kansas, New York.
