On Wednesday, March 12, former San Marcos High School standout Katie Whittaker’s current college team, the St. John’s Red Storm, won 6-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Iona Gaels.

The game took place at Red Storm Field. This was their first matchup against the Gaels this season.

The Red Storm’s next game is scheduled for Friday, March 21 at 3 p.m. at Butler Softball Field against Butler Bulldogs.
