On Friday, March 7, former San Marcos High School standout Chase Hoover’s current college team, the UC Santa Barbara Gauchos, won 4-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Cal State Northridge Matadors.

The game took place at Caesar Uyesaka Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Matadors this season.

The Gauchos’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 8 at 3:05 p.m. at Caesar Uyesaka Stadium against Cal State Northridge Matadors.
