On Monday, March 10, former Valley Center High School standout Ryan Hakes’ current college team, the Crown Polars, won 13-11 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Wesleyan Cardinals.

The game took place at Kino Sports Complex. This was their first matchup against the Cardinals this season.

The Polars’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 11 at 11 a.m. at Kino Sports Complex against Carthage Firebirds.
