On Saturday, Feb. 1, former Poway High School standout Paige Donnelly’s current college team, the Cal State San Marcos Cougars, won 5-2 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Northwest Nazarene Nighthawks.

The game took place at OC Great Park. This was their first matchup against the Nighthawks this season.

The Cougars’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 1 at 1:30 p.m. at OC Great Park against Western Oregon Wolves.
