On Saturday, March 8, former San Marcos High School standout Caylene Nguyen’s current college team, the Columbia Lions, lost 8-4 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Florida Gulf Coast Eagles.

The game took place at FGCU Softball Complex. This was their third matchup against the Eagles this season.

The Lions’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 18 at 2 p.m. at Shea Stadium against Sacramento State Hornets.
