On Sunday, February 25, three former Chaparral High School standouts, including Hayden Johns, Niko Diaz and Phoenix Sommay’s current college team, the Cal State San Marcos Cougars, won 8-7 in their NCAA Division II game against the Cal State Los Angeles Golden Eagles.

The game took place in San Marcos, California. This was their fourth matchup against the Cal State Los Angeles Golden Eagles this season.

The Cougars’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 1 at 2 p.m. in Carson, California against Cal State Dominguez Hills Toros.
