On Sunday, March 9, former Poway High School standout Chris Sauer’s current college team, the Wheeling Cardinals, won 8-1 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Lake Erie Storm.

The game took place at JB Chambers I-470 Complex. This was their third matchup against the Storm this season.

The Cardinals’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, March 12 at 1 p.m. at Mando Field at Rich Park against Carolina Bruins.
