On Thursday, March 6, former Valley Center High School standout Ryan Hakes’ current college team, the Crown Polars, lost 19-12 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Concordia Golden Bears.

The game took place at Kino Sports Complex. This was their first matchup against the Golden Bears this season.

The Polars’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 7 at 11 a.m. at Kino Sports Complex against Concordia Wisconsin Falcons.
