On Tuesday, March 25, former San Marcos High School standout Chase Hoover’s current college team, the UC Santa Barbara Gauchos, won 7-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Saint Mary’s Gaels.

The game took place at Louis Guisto Field. This was their second matchup against the Gaels this season.

The Gauchos’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 28 at 6 p.m. at Bohl Diamond at Blair Field against Long Beach State Beach.
