On Sunday, March 9, former San Marcos High School standout Nate Chronis’ current college team, the Winthrop Eagles, won 10-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Cornell Big Red.

The game took place at Winthrop Ballpark. This was their first matchup against the Big Red this season.

The Eagles’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 11 at 6 p.m. at Winthrop Ballpark against Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
