On Saturday, March 8, former Valley Center High School standout Ryan Hakes’ current college team, the Crown Polars, won 13-4 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Caltech Beavers.

The game took place at Kino Sports Complex. This was their first matchup against the Beavers this season.

The Polars’ next game is scheduled for Monday, March 10 at 11 a.m. at Kino Sports Complex against Wesleyan Cardinals.
