San Marcos issued the following announcement.
Beginning Monday 10/12 offsite water, sewer, and street improvements will be starting for the new El Dorado Apartments project. Work will take place Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4 pm.
A daytime street closure will be in effect starting 10/12 running through 10/30 on Pleasant Way between Mission and Richmar. After 10/30, the contractor is anticipating a full street closure until 12/30. Delays in the schedule may occur due to inclement weather conditions.
Although two-way traffic will be maintained on Pico Ave. and Marcos St., short traffic delays should be anticipated. Standard traffic control measures with advanced warning signs and pedestrian detours will be in place.
