Microaggressions are “More insidious than those moments of outright hostility...are the constant, low-level reminders that you're different....Even when you feel like you belong, other people's reactions-even stares and offhand remarks-can make you feel that you don't.”
-Celeste Ng, Everything I Never Told You
Microaggressive behaviors, whether intentional or unintentional, have an effect on people which is often overlooked and underestimated. Microaggressions are subtle and often directed at marginalized groups through language and behaviors. In this webinar, participants will learn how to understand, identify, and address microaggressions in order to foster an inclusive organizational culture.
In this webinar you will:
Identify and mitigate microaggressive behaviors in the workplace
Recognize language and interactions that are prejudicial to others
Reflect on the role you play to promote or dissolve microaggressions with peers or supervisors
Learn how microaggressions become normalized in the workplace
