“Universal Design for Learning (UDL) promotes the inclusion and engagement of all students by offering students multiple ways to learn and demonstrate their learning.” -Jana Nichol, The UDL Project
Universal Design for Learning (UDL) is an inclusive approach to lesson design that increases access for students with varied learning differences. In this webinar, we will explore how UDL decreases the barriers that exist in traditional lesson design by enabling flexibility in how students access and engage with the curriculum. Learn how to create a high-quality universally designed lesson.
In this webinar you will:
Define Universal Design for Learning (UDL)
Explore the process of developing a universally designed lesson
Identify the barriers that limit student access to traditionally designed lessons
Learn the principles and research base of Universal Design for Learning
Understand the advantages of incorporating the UDL approach in lessons across the content areas
Everyone who registers for the webinar will receive a follow up email the following business day after the webinar with a link to the recording and the slide deck. Please check your junk/spam folder if you do not see the email in your inbox.
