Chaparral High School was well-represented by Hayden Johns and two former teammates now on Cal State San Marcos Cougars during the NCAA Division II game on Friday, February 23

On Friday, February 23, three former Chaparral High School standouts, including Hayden Johns, Niko Diaz and Phoenix Sommay’s current college team, the Cal State San Marcos Cougars, lost 15-11 in their NCAA Division II game against the Cal State Los Angeles Golden Eagles.

The game took place in San Marcos, California. This was their first matchup against the Cal State Los Angeles Golden Eagles this season.

The Cougars’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, February 24 at 11 a.m. in San Marcos, California against Cal State Los Angeles Golden Eagles.
