On Thursday, March 13, former Valley Center High School standout Ryan Hakes’ current college team, the Crown Polars, lost 19-4 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Carthage Firebirds.

The game took place at Kino Sports Complex. This was their second matchup against the Firebirds this season.

The Polars’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, March 13 at 1:30 p.m. at Kino Sports Complex against Rockford Regents.
