On Monday, March 24, former Valley Center High School standout Ryan Hakes’ current college team, the Crown Polars, won 5-4 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Gustavus Adolphus Golden Gusties.

The game took place at Gustie Baseball Field. This was their second matchup against the Golden Gusties this season.

The Polars’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, March 27 at 3 p.m. at Missile Park against North Central Rams.
